Secure Online Ordering
To use the online ordering facility you must have cookies enabled on your browser. Cookies are used on this site to keep track of your shopping bag ID only, and no other details are stored. The cookie is set to expire after 1 day.
Making an online purchase is easy. Just select from our catalogue the items you wish to buy and click the 'add to bag' button. The contents of your bag will then be displayed. If you wish to change the quantity of a particular item, simply amend the quantity for that item and then click the 'update bag' button. If you wish to remove items from your bag, click the 'delete item' check-box and then click the 'update bag' button. When you have selected all the items that you wish to purchase, click the 'checkout' button to complete the online order form with your delivery and payment details.
When you place an order online, all the payment details you enter are encrypted using SSL technology before being sent over the internet. This is the standard method for online shopping to prevent your personal information from being copied or intercepted while being transferred to our computer. On receipt of your order you will be transferred to the WorldPay online credit card payment facility. Your order details are stored in a secure IBM Lotus Domino database to keep them safe from hackers, and your credit card details are not held as clear text on any web site or computer connected directly to the Internet.

Offline Ordering
If you would prefer to place your order offline, simply add the items you require to the shopping bag and proceed through to the checkout. Complete all of your details but select ‘Offline Order’ from the dropdown at the payment method section. Then contact us to arrange payment. We can then either take your payment over the telephone or provide you with details of how to pay by cheque/postal order. Cheques should be made payable to Effective Web Solutions Limited and sent to: Effective Web Solutions Limited, 11 Riverside, Sir Thomas Longley Road, Medway City Estate, Strood, Kent, ME2 4DP. We will place the items on hold until your cheque has arrived and cleared.
Postage & Packing
UK mainland orders are dispatched by courier and the postage & packing is £5.99 per order for delivery. Items sent to any off-shore islands (inc. Northern Ireland) will be sent standard Royal Mail parcel post which will take longer to be delivered and may also incur a surcharge depending on the consignment weight. Multiple items sent to non mainland UK addresses and some parts of Scotland are subject to surcharges. If you require courier delivery to non-mainland locations, please call us for a quotation. Courier deliveries will require a signature and as such, any instruction stating to 'leave in porch' or 'leave round the back' etc will be ignored. You can specify a different delivery address from your billing address on the checkout page. Please note that we are not able to guarantee any delivery times.
We aim to dispatch your order on the same working day as it is received and payment is cleared. You should receive your order within 3 working days.
We are pleased to offer free delivery on all orders over £200 (to mainland UK).
Delivery
Orders are dispatched by courier as this is the quickest and safest method. The courier will require a signature, so please ensure there is someone available at the delivery address to sign for the parcel. (You might want to provide a work address as the delivery address). Your local depot will try and deliver the parcel 3 times and on each occasion should leave a calling card if you are not available. After this time, the courier will return the parcel to us. Unfortunately, if we then need to re-send the order you will be charged an additional delivery charge as the courier will charge us again to send your order.
Although it rarely occurs, any items that do not arrive after 3 working days that have been sent by post cannot be declared lost until after 15 working days. (Standards set by Royal Mail).
In Stock Items
We only display items that we have in stock and on the shelf, however our website can be up to half an hour behind the stock level system. If by coincidence you order an item that has sold out in the last half hour, we will try and obtain another item or alternatively cancel your order and immediately refund your credit card.
Mail List
When you place your order you can choose whether or not you would like to be included in our mailing list. We promise to only send you short emails containing messages that are relevant to you. We do not share our customer details with anybody and can guarantee you will not be spammed! Please feel free to contact us if you wish to be included in our mailing list or if you have received an email and wish to be removed.
Representation
Although every effort is made to provide a detailed description of each item, this is only meant as a guide and we cannot be held responsible for inaccurate information. Item pictures and photos shown on this website should be used as a guide only, as true colour representation is not guaranteed.
VAT Charges
Currently we are only able to accept orders made from the UK and these orders are subject to VAT at 20%. VAT is included in all prices listed on the web site.
Returns Policy
We will replace faulty goods with an identical replacement item or refund your money if the item is no longer available. Faulty items must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt and returned to us in their original, undamaged box within 14 days of receipt. They must not show any signs of 'wear and tear', damage or usage. All returned items must be securely packaged and a certificate of posting must be obtained from the Post Office. Replacement items or refunds will not be issued until the original item has been received by us. Any items returned because of a "change of mind" will need to be returned at your own expense (within 7 days of receipt) and we will only refund the cost of the model. Please call us on 01634 731305 before returning any goods.
If you need to return an item to us because it has arrived damaged, please contact us and we will provide you with delivery details.

Die-cast models are manufactured to various scales based on measurements taken from the actual vehicles/aircraft/person. The higher the scale, the smaller the model. Please refer to the individual product pages for more details on the approximate size of each model. |
